There will always be a place for well organised live traditional auctions, however the days of traditional auctions only are long gone. A combination of online and traditional auctions will be the new norm and is here to stay.
We therefore have recently introduced a tried and tested online platform from the UK. It is being used by some of the largest auctioneering firms in South Africa and throughout the world. This platform allows us to reach thousands more clients thereby making auctions significantly more accessible to a larger audience
The platform is user friendly and will attract people who previously may have been intimidated by auctions or who could not spare the time to attend a live auction.
Anyone can now partake in our auctions from anywhere as long as there is a good internet connection.

Traditional live on site auctions
These on-site auctions will re-commence as soon as COVID-19 legislation allows.
Timed online auction
Timed auctions take place without an auctioneer calling the sale. Each lot can be bid on from the leisure of your own home or office for a defined time period. At the end of this period, the bidder who has submitted the highest bid wins the lot, subject to confirmation by the seller.
Timed on site auctions
Timed on site auctions take place without an auctioneer calling the sale. Each lot can be bid on AT OUR AUCTION ROOMS for a defined time period. At the end of this period, the bidder who has submitted the highest bid wins the lot, subject to confirmation by the seller.
Live webcast auctions
Live Webcast auctions allow internet bidders to bid in real time against floor bidders.It further allows anyone with an internet connection to participate in a live auction taking place anywhere.
Live online only auctions
Live online only auction allows internet bidders to bid in real time where the auctioneer is live, but only online participants are present. It further allows anyone with an internet connection to participate in a live auction taking place anywhere.
Professional Valuation and Appraisal Services

We offer complementing professional valuation and appraisal services to our clients. Our valuers are registered with the South African Council for Property Valuers Profession (SACPVP) as professional valuers and appointed as sworn appraises by the master of the High Court.
History
After gaining 9 years of invaluable business auctioneering an valuation experience from the well-known Louis van Rensburg (Van Rensburgs Auctions). Frederick Bekker decided to take his years of experience in auctioneering and to fulfil his dream of having his own business. Bekker Auctioneers was founded in May 2018.
Bekker Auctioneers is a growing business with a long term vision. We strive to always offer innovative, hands-on , professional service with a personal touch for all our clients.
Social Responsibility
We serve our local and surrounding communities with free auctioneering services for fund-raising charity events such as “Up with Downs”. (A school for kids affected by Down Syndrome) and “Carpe Diem” – A local school for kids with special needs; and many more.
